Do you practise mindfulness?

Have you ever heard of mindfulness? In short it is about being very aware of your actions. When you pick out a cup of tea be mindful and take a moment to think about what taste you are looking for. Shifting your awareness like this brings about a sense of clarity. When you are in the moment you enjoy it fully and who doesn’t like that. So try it and see what happens and feel free to share your experience with us.

Thankful Tuesday

I am grateful today for internal awareness of my body’s healing and the messages that it sends when it is in need of some thing big or small. I am also eternally grateful for my naturopath who continually guides me on my journey and have been witness to amazing successes.

Our bodies are such amazing things of beauty and we often speak a completely different language. We need to listen but first and foremost slow down and stop the internal chatter long enough to hear.

Monday Morning Mantra

Life is so simple yet sometimes we make it so complicated. We as humans make mistakes however most of us learn from those mistakes and move on. Reflecting on your own true self and being self-aware of your actions and thoughts is key to living a full life; one with purpose and intention. So today’s mantra is a simple one –

Alaskan TreeWe are not just our bodies or our minds we are an intricately woven beautiful mix of our body, mind and spirit. So today’s mantra is all about bringing about an awareness of all that we are right here an right now.
 
Take a moment today to close your eyes. Breathe. Feel your heartbeat in your fingertips and feel the warmth of your heart. Feel gratitude for the moment you are in. Breathe. With your breath out release all of the tension, the negativity and say,  
“I am love, I am happiness, I am gratitude, I AM alive. I think positive thoughts, listen for the beauty in each moment and feel joy with my whole being. I am alive.”
